We offer all the options that the original may require: linguistic correction, design, layout, paper or electronic printing, distribution… From the beginning to the end, we stay by the author’s side to accompany him or her throughout the process.

Edicions a Petició works with all the possibilities offered by the publishing market. Depending on the type of project, it can be printed on paper (either in digital or offset printing) or also in electronic printing, either in EPUB format, interactive PDF format or in APP format.

Initially, through digital printing technology, Edicions a Petició sought to minimize the impact of certain obstacles in the traditional publishing process: the financing of a minimum print run and the storage of surplus sales of a type of book that is defined by its longseller nature. Digital technology makes it possible to keep the publication available in the long term without having to print or store the product, as the copy or copies are only printed when a buyer has already ordered the work.

It could be said that the concept of the market disappears from the criteria for deciding on the acceptance of the editing and publication of a text. In other words, any text can be published and made available to the interested public, even if it is a minimal circle.

Moreover, digital technology applied to the production processes of publishing allows access both to constantly evolving improvements and to new electronic book formats (ebooks) which, by their very constitution, make much more effective dissemination possible.
